Westline Education Group (WEG) is committed to being the leading education provider in South East Asia.  Today, WEG runs the Westline Schools and Northline Schools which provide   K-12 education using the Royal Government of Cambodia’s curriculum and English education.  The Group also manages the Educational Development Institute offering education and business training, consultancy and research aiming to improve the capacity of educators, managers and young entrepreneurs in Cambodia.

WEG is dedicated to providing world-class education through professionally-managed institutions that focus on innovation, curriculum excellence, dynamic extracurricular programs, community service and student leadership.  To support its mission, WEG has partnered with the Cambodia-Laos Development Fund, a Luxembourg-based private equity fund managed by Singapore-registered Emerging Markets Investments.      

As part of its development, WEG (The Westline School and The Northline School) is looking for qualified, committed and experienced candidates to fill the following positions:

1)      Vice Principal ( For The Westline School, Chbar Ampov Branch)

 Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensures good disciplines, motivation and empowerment, and quality learning which lead to high academic achievement;
  • Manages, evaluates and supervises effective and clear procedures for the operation and functioning of the school consistent with the philosophy, mission, values and goals of the school;
  • Produces high quality of teaching professionalism, methodologies, pleasant personalities and leadership initiatives;
  • Supervises the instructional programs of the school, evaluates lesson plans and observes classes to encourage teachers to use a variety of instructional strategies and materials consistent with research on learning and child development;
  • Possesses good communication skills, assertive speaking, and active listening, build good rapport with students, parents, teachers and colleagues;
  • Establishes and maintains an effective inventory system for the program supplies, materials and equipment;
  • Manages and implements marketing plan;
  • Manages customer service, and social work for the branch;
  • Manages and develops branch library;
  • Manages teacher-parent conference;
  • Other tasks assigned by school principal;

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree of Education or Master of Arts in English/TESOL or related field;
  • Certificate of Pedagogy in teaching is preferable;
  • At least three-year experience in Adult English Program Management;
  • At least five-year teaching experience;
  • Good command of English, proven by at least TOEFL 550;
  • Good oral and written communication skills;
  • Knowledge of budget planning is a plus;
  • Good presentation skills;
  • Good problem solving and negotiation skills;
  • Good command computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, Internet and Email);
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Self-managed, self- motivated and highly responsible;
  • Good Leadership skill and team working spirit;
  • Result-oriented personality;

2)     Assistant Vice Principal ( For The Westline School, Sonthor Mok Branch)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Direct assists the techniques of  teaching, produce teaching materials, classroom administration and classroom management;
  • Possesses good communication skills, assertive speaking, active listening, building good rapport with students, parents, teachers and colleagues;
  • Establishes and maintains an effective inventory system for the program supplies, materials and equipment;
  • Controls and manages the hygiene, classroom environment and playground with school standard;
  • Conducts orientation and guides new kindergarten teachers, teacher assistants and child care assistant;
  • Controls, checks and coordinates on teachers ‘comments on students ‘learning;

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree of Education in English/TESOL;
  • Certificate of Pedagogy in teaching kids;
  • At least three-year teaching experience in English Kindergarten Program;
  • Good knowledge of Child Development and teaching methods;
  • Good command of spoken and written English;
  • Good oral and written communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure;
  • Good Presentation skills;
  • Knowledge of project management and leading;
  • Computer literacy (Ms. Word, Excel, Power Point, E-mail, and Internet....)

3)    Finance Coordinator

  Job Responsibilities:

  • Checks and verifies budget and activity advance/request and budget plan of branches’ academic services and submit through Account & Finance Director to CFO and CEO for approval.
  • Supervises Cashier/ Head Cashier and coordinates with stakeholders to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial transactions;
  • Manages cash in bank to ensure enough balance of all branches;
  • Checks and verifies cash on hand/ daily cash flow and submit to CFO and CEO for approval;
  • Checks and verifies refill petty cash and submit to CFO for approval;
  • Checks and verifies payroll of all branches and submit to CFO and CEO for approval;
  • Checks and verifies expenses of all branches to ensure accurate record;
  • Performs other relevant and assigned tasks as required;

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of bachelor of Banking and Finance/ Accounting;
  • Minimum of two or three (2-3) years of related experience;
  • Good knowledge of accounting especially private sector;
  • Good knowledge of accounting software (Peachtree and QuickBooks)
  • Good knowledge of Cambodia taxation;
  • Good command of spoken and written Khmer & English;
  • Good presentation skills;
  • Good command computer literacy;
  • Problem solving and negotiation skills;
  • Good command of accounting software (Peachtree and QuickBooks);
  • Good command of Cambodia taxation;
  • Strong communication and strong interpersonal skills;
  • Self-managed, self- motivated and highly responsible;
  • Leadership skill;

4)    Accountant

Job Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for general accounting including the preparation of journal entries, maintenance of balance sheet;
  • Assists monthly closing, account analysis and provides other support as required by Accounting & Financial Department;
  • Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements;
  • Monitors and reports the implementation the approved budget on daily basis;
  • Prepares daily bank reconciliation functions;
  • Be able to prepare relevant documents, and
  • Be able to assist Head Department to prepare financial statement are preferable.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Finance/Accounting or any related fields;
  • At least two- year experience related to Accounting, Finance.;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
  • Attention to details and accuracy;
  • Good command in Khmer and English;
  • Proficiency in MS. Office, especially MS. Excel;
  • Good command in time management and organizational skills;
  • Good at communication and Leadership;
  • Pleasant personality and self-motivation;
  • Willing to work hard, smart and honest;

5)    Stock Supervisor

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides regular and timely reports to Account & Finance Director;
  • Supervises and coordinates stock keeper to make sure stock availability to cover sale for one week;
  • Checks and verifies inventory every week;
  • Verifies stock and fixed asset request including canteen;
  • Verifies stock and fixed asset record including canteen;
  • Performs other relevant and assigned tasks as required;
  • Receives and consolidates purchase orders from all departments and branches;
  • Manages supply to all departments and branches to make sure all requested products are received;
  • Cooperates with stock staff at branches for better stock management;
  • Frequently checks quotations with suppliers;
  • Places purchase orders to suppliers;
  • Controls stock database;
  • Counts real stock and control warehouse;
  • Performs other relevant and assigned tasks as required;

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of bachelor of Banking and Finance/ Accounting;
  • Minimum of two (2) years of related experience;
  • Good knowledge of control stock in private sector/ garment;
  • Good command of spoken and written Khmer;
  • Knowledge of some English;
  • Good command computer literacy (Ms Office, especially Ms Excel, Internet & E-mail);
  • Have at least motor-driving license;
  • Problem solving and negotiation skills;
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills;
  • Self-managed, self- motivated and highly responsible;
  • Willing to travel and do office work;
  • Result oriented and follow-up;

6)    Stock Keeper

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepares and supplies the Student Material to cashiers;
  • Prepares and supplies the item for canteen;
  • Prepares and supplies the material and stationaries for school;
  • Prepares request purchase to School Principal;
  • Processes purchase order and receiving item to/ from vendors;
  • Stores packing of goods, materials and stationaries in accordance with appropriate procedures and regulations;
  • Coordinates with other sections to make plan of term purchase to ensure good; materials and stationaries are available to meet the demand;
  • Finds a new vendor for comparison;
  • Submits all kinds of reports on time;
  • Other work assigned by supervisor;

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Accounting/ Finance;
  • At least one-year experience in stock control;
  • Proficiency in MS. Office, especially MS. Excel;
  • Understanding of Accounting Software, QuickBooks Enterprise is a plus;
  • Good command in English language;
  • Good command in time management and organizational skills;
  • Good communication and Leadership;
  • Pleasant personality and self-motivation;
  • Willing to work hard, smart and honest;

7)    Administrative Assistant ( For The Westline School, Chamkar Doung branch)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manages inventory of HR office supplies and stationary;
  • Prepares meetings and attend meetings to record minutes;
  • Files and retrieves documents, records and reports in relation to HR;
  • Compiles data, and prepare papers in HR Office;
  • Prints, binds and distributes documents to relevant individual persons, offices, or branches;
  • Welcomes guests by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or directing inquiries;
  • Performs general office duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining records management, and performing basic bookkeeping work;

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration in HR Management or General Management;
  • Minimum one-year experience in HR or administrative works;
  • Good Organizational and Interpersonal skills;
  • Self-managed, self-motivated and highly responsible;
  • Result-oriented personality;
  • Team working spirit;
  • Good command of English;
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, Internet and Email;

8)    Foreign Teacher

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develops course outline at the beginning of the term;
  • Prepares entire lesson plan, quizzes, homework, assignments, mid-term and final; examination with schedule due date;
  • Maintains the discipline inside classroom as well as the outside;
  • Provides a positive environment in which students are encouraged to be actively engaged in the learning process, especially the slow students;
  • Communicates effectively, both orally and in writing, and maintains cooperative working relationship, with students, parents, school and other institutions;
  • Assesses students ‘progress;
  • Models professional and ethical standards when dealing with students, parents, peers and community;

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Education in English or TESOL/TEFL Certificate;
  • At least two-year experience in teaching;
  • Strong commitment and good interpersonal skills;
  • Good teaching professionalism;
  • Good presentation skills;
  • Computer literacy (Ms. Word, Excel, Power Point, Email and Internet);
